Man am I sore

Started the Anatomical Adaptation phase of weight lifting last Tuesday. Its weird because any time I've lifted in the past its always been the motivation to push the biggest weight possible. Endurance athletes don't do that. Light weights. Lots of reps. During and immediately following the workout I thought 'what a joke'. I found out Wednesday morning the joke was on me. Pain Pain Pain. The pain finally subsided enough that I could lift again on Saturday.

Being near bed ridden with pain and Lisa in Michigan with the baby gave me time this weekend to get all of my workouts planned for next year in the Training Bible online software. I've done up through January. Tomorrow, October 25th, will be my first day back to my regularly scheduled training. I had some sort of cold last week that I'm still getting over but I'm going to go ahead and work through it. I will post my plans and goals for the 2005 season soon.

Im still around folks

Ahh the most valuable time of season the season-to-season transition. Haven't posted in a while just wanted to get a quick 'I havent quit' out there. TriAmerica Miami on October 10th, my first international distance, went way better than expected. Finished 6th of 12 and had a great time and finished with plenty of energy.

As of late I've decided to take an end of season two weeks off. Maybe even three. In the mean time I've been working on planning the 2005 season and just relaxing playing some tennis. I've also been reading Lance Armstrong's book 'It's Not About the Bike'. Great book quick read check it out.

I'm also still working on the redesign for my site and have been getting some quirks worked out with the hosting but everything should be running fine now. Hope to put a new design up in the next week or so. Later.
